Welcome! You've stumbled upon the page of an almost-nineteen year old that's currently undergoing one of her "Who Am I? What Am I Doing Here?" phases. She also happens to have a huge love for words, bright pictures and music, and constantly craves sweet, iced tea drinks. Buy her a cuppa, perhaps?

Ryan, Hobo and Panic! At The Disco.

That's Ryan and his dog, Hobo. She's so cute. Don't you think they have the same eyes?

This picture is so freaking adorable, it makes my heart melt into a sticky puddle on the floor.

Love Jon's face, Ryan's expression and his gloved hand and Brendon. :)

Photos I said I'd post up are coming tomorrow or so. In the process of editing them now.

i'm so tired of this. i wonder why i even let you in. now the thought or sight of you irritates me to no end.

A short one before i go..

When just lazily browsing some websites, I stumbled upon this article thing about a rising new band called I Nine, so I decided to check their song out and it is real good!

It's called Seven Days Of Lonely and here's the link for you to download it : http://www.zshare.net/download/4535715aa3ef11/

Music's my medicine at times like this.

Funny convos in college:

Jason: *mutters something in mandarin*
ZhengJoo: Oh my god.
Me: Translate that for me?
Jason: Uh, she said "Oh my God"
Me: -_- I SAID THE MANDARIN WORDS LAH LOL!

Super funny can die dot com.

Yesterday was the wedding. Some guy's car got broken into right in front of the restaurant and was driven away. That smart guy who stole the car apparently wired it. Man. You can never ever predict something in Kepong. Poor guy from the bride's side (not our family, thank God HAHA) lah. Pity him.

Pictures soon, again. :P

Assignments, assignments! :(

Hontoni. Sankyuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.

THANK YOU

Thank you guys for a wonderful birthday, really.

But hands down, the best present I received today was this big picture collage thing in a frame from Joan, Huai and Ter.

I super love you guys to bits man. We all went out today to One Utama and we watched the Last Legion, which was a total corny cheesy flick (which sort of copied LOTR in a few scenes) involved someone dying and someone crying over his death like a zillion times in the movie man. Aishwarya Rai's acting skills was pretty good though. Half of the time we expected her to break into Bollywood dance and run in circles around a tree or something.

Actually the few upsides to the movie were:

#1 TOTAL HOTTIE ALERT : ORLANDO BLOOM LOOKALIKE! Super Orlando Bloom lookalike man!!!! His name's Rupert Friend. :D

He's a new and upcoming actor that was the funny one in the movie.

AND he's currently dating Keira Knightley AND is rumored to be engaged to her WTF?!

Methinks Keira has a thing for Orlando lookalikes here.... since she can't have the real one...

LOOK AT HIM AND TELL ME HE DOESN'T LOOK LIKE ORLANDO BLOOM.
Watch the Last Legion.
Drop dead gorgeous can die x 10000000

#2: The little emperor boy was sooooooooo cute and he's a rising child actor. I can so see him in some famous movie when he grows up.

OH! And we ate Carls Jr. for lunch today. Portobello Beef Burger, I had. OMG the burger was so huge I couldn't even open my mouth wide enough to bite it. We had to flatten the burger by squeezing it, making all the cheese and juice drip down onto the table wtf :( ! AND THE FRIES. OMG THE FRIES. THE FRIES ROCK SOCKS MAN. Mc. Donalds, YOU HAVE A WORTHY COMPETITOR. And YOU LOSE. HA! Carls Junior's fries were soooooooooooooooooooo crispy and sooooooooooooooooooooo gooooooooooooood. Can I repeat that? SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOD.

Anyhoo, thank you - all of you - for your sweet messages and your calls (WeiHong, Joan&Huai and Mugen - my phone was nuts so I couldn't receive your call at all but I was in a movie anyway. Sorry, my favorite carrot :( ).

Pictures soon I swear.

Now, I need to get started on my Social Psych pair assignment (COUGH Geoffrey COUGH) before I crack my head tomorrow studying for Media Appreciation.

When will this war end?

You're such a riot.

Give us this day our daily dose of faux affliction

Me and my practised smirkpout.
The cutest little boy in the whole wide world x 10000000 and my favorite nephew of all time, Mason Loo-McNamara.
You don't know how much I miss you. :(
Dreamcatchers made by Shae.
Here are my new black leather sneaks.
Hohohohohoho
And these are my new black-and-purple (you'll see the purple if you squint) sneaks.

Mom made me throw my old ones away so I got two new ones in return hohoho

My feet are on the left. I don't know whose feet (and butt) are those but they all were wearing Converses and we happened to be standing in a line.
Snapped by MunSuet.

My favorite camwhore pic now hahahaha

Pretty ain't it?
Not even a quarter of the books, magazines and shit I own.

Spot the carrot. :)

Here's the song that probably is on my sidebar now.. or is going to be on my side bar... real soon.

The Church Of Hot Addiction - Cobra Starship

Just let me ask you:
Hey, have you heard of my religion?
It's called the Church of Hot Addiction
And we believe that God has lust for everything

Because now,
The time has come for your devotion
And you already got a notion
Of what I need
So give it, just give it,
Just give it to me

You're willing,
I'm waiting.
Turn out the lights

Tonight I am the drug you can't deny
Tonight G-A-B-E gonna get you high
My light is electric, hey hey hey
My light is electric, yeah, hey hey hey
My light is electric, hey hey hey
My light is electric, yeah, hey hey hey
My light is electric

Just let me tell you
Hey, you gotta get the Cobra bless now
You're really only selling sex now
But I can pay
The price you charge for what I need

Because I,
I've got a nasty new compulsion
And you've already got a notion
Of what I need
So give it, just give it,
Just give it to me

You're willing,
I'm waiting.
Turn out the lights

Tonight I am the drug you can't deny
Tonight G-A-B-E gonna get you high
My light is electric
Tonight I am the drug you can't deny
Tonight G-A-B-E gonna get you high
My light is electric, hey hey hey
My light is electric, yeah, hey hey hey
My light is electric, hey hey hey
My light is electric, yeah, hey hey hey
My light is electric

I've got electric eyes
And I can get you high
I've got electric eyes
I'm gonna get you

Tonight I am the drug you can't deny
Tonight G-A-B-E gonna get you high
My light is, light is, light is
Tonight I am the drug you can't deny
Tonight G-A-B-E gonna get you high
My light is electric, hey hey hey
My light is electric, yeah, hey hey hey
My light is electric, hey hey hey
My light is electric, yeah, hey hey hey
My light is electric, hey hey hey
My light is electric, hey hey hey
My light is electric, yeah, hey hey hey
My light is electric, hey hey hey
My light is electric, yeah

Birthdays and sneakers..

Bands that I am so into right now
- Cobra Starship - Pop-Punk Is Sooooo '05
- FallOutBoy - Champagne For My Real Friends, Real Pain For My Sham Friends
- LinkinPark - Easier To Run
- Boys Like Girls - Heels Over Head
- Paramore - crushcrushcrush
- Panic! - Camisado & Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off
- and of cos lah, The Click Five - Headlight Disco

I super duper love Paramore's crushcrushcrush!

Anyways, Econs today - which was superb (I think this is truly the first time in the history of alll my schooling days that I managed to answer the whole exam paper without scratching my head and going "Haiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiih"). Even English paper I also got ok? That bloody Kino and Juana and Kayu-tito last year la.

After Econs, I followed WeiHong and MunSuet to KLCC, where me and WeiHong walked around for a little while while MunSuet went for her job interview thing with Maxis. I spotted this super cute fluorescent dress in Guess that I think I saw in November's CLEO which I managed to read habis the whole thing last night. Hahahaehaha I studied last night. *cough

The ROXY there was super incomplete though. I prefer the one in One Utama and MidV. I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed ROXY flipflops!!! The ROXY flipflops in KLCC look super kampung, like the ones you can so totally buy at the pasar malam for 20 times cheaper.

:(

My sneakers gave me blisters today. This is the only part I hate about sneakers : breaking them in. After they're broken in, they'll be soooo comfy and I practically have them on 24/7.

Super random pictures of sneaks later I promise. No pictures for the meantime though.

And oh, i'll be turning seventeen soon. Florence turns seventeen tomorrow. Or in an hour and thirty minutes to be precise.

I don't want to turn seventeen. Sure, i'm finally that age I was hoping I was when I was younger so that I could be the same age as the magazine name wtf, but I don't feel any better. I want to be sixteen and in college!! And when I tell everyone that, everyone goes "HUH? YOU'RE SIXTEEN AND YOU'RE IN COLLEGE? PTS isit?" And i'll go, "No, not PTS. I masuk early." Haha.

Right now i'm working on this totally random-can-die story of Ryan and Brendon and I think my LJ community mod is going to love me for this one. Talk later.

Happy Birthday, Flo.

Music... and no more video.

Wow. No WONDER I couldn't access Tv-links.co.uk today.

TV-LINKS HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN!!

[taken from ohnotheydidn't community in Livejournal]

One of the world's most-used pirate film websites has been closed after providing links to illegal versions of major Hollywood hits and TV shows. The first closure of a major UK-based pirate site was also accompanied by raids and an arrest, the anti-piracy group Federation Against Copyright Theft (Fact) said today.

A 26-year-old man from Cheltenham was arrested on Thursday in connection with offences relating to the facilitation of copyright infringement on the internet, Fact said. The arrest and the closure of the site - www.tv-links.co.uk - came during an operation by officers from Gloucestershire County Council trading standards in conjunction with investigators from Fact and Gloucestershire Police.

Fact claims that tv-links.co.uk was providing links to illegal film content that had been camcorder recorded from cinemas and then uploaded to the internet. The site also provided links to TV shows that were being illegally distributed. Visitors to the site could get access to major feature films, sometimes within days of their initial cinema release. Recent links took users to illegal versions of the Disney/Pixar animation sensation Ratatouille as well as to most of this summer's blockbusters.

"Sites such as TV Links contribute to and profit from copyright infringement by identifying, posting, organising, and indexing links to infringing content found on the internet that users can then view on demand by visiting these illegal sites," said a spokesman for Fact.
The group's director general Kieron Sharp said TV Links was the first major target in a campaign to crackdown on web piracy.

"The theft and distribution of films harms the livelihoods of those working in the UK film industry and in ancillary industries, as well as damaging the economy," he said. Roger Marles, from Trading Standards said sites such as TV Links allowed people to break UK copyright law.

"The 'users' are potentially evading licence fees, subscription fees to digital services or the cost of purchase or admittance to cinemas to view the films," he added. The British Video Association estimates that at least £459m was lost to the video, film and TV industries due to piracy in 2006.

wtf. now I can't finish watching Psych. And America's Next Top Model. Pfffft.

-Skye Sweetnam's new album, "Sound Soldier" drops on 30/10/2007 and I can't wait because I super adore her songs, but you - and me - can preview her album - yes, her whole album right here!
She totally redefines the phrase "punk princess" - i'm loving her first single "Human" already.

- The Backstreet Boys are back - and this time, they're Kevinless. But they still sound the same! And their album, Unbreakable, has a whole new vibe to it that i'm loving. The album also drops on the 30th, and i'm super excited! Listen to their whole album here.

- Sadly, the Britney album is a flop. As much as I love her first single, Gimme More, off her new album, Blackout again, dropping on the 30th, the rest of her album gets a big boo from moi. Listen to it here!

Good luck for Econs, y'all. Not that we all need it...

Memories.

I read my old posts and couldn't help smiling and feeling fuzzy inside when the memories came flooding back.

*here*

I edited that way ages ago. I think I lost the font. Super nice font. :( It used to be my favoritest of favorite fonts.

And I posted this before and it's WAY outdated since Paris and Stabby Nachos Stavros Niarchos are WAY over but still it's like, so fucking funny.
PARIS: Dude, I'm so happy we're friends again.

NICOLE: Me too.

PARIS: You make me look so tall and healthy.

NICOLE: You make me feel so small and delicate. And smart. I enjoy that.

PARIS: I'm just glad we're over that thing that happened.

NICOLE: Me too. Our friendship is more important.

PARIS: I know. I mean, bros before hos, right? I seriously never would have hooked up with him if I knew you really liked him.

NICOLE: What?

PARIS: Stabby. If I'd known you were THAT into him, I never would have stolen him from you.

NICOLE: Huh?

PARIS: STABBY. STABBY NACHOS.

NICOLE: Who is Stabby Nachos?

PARIS: You know, tall? Greek? Your boyfriend?

NICOLE: Stavros Niarchos?

PARIS: That is what I SAID. STABBY NACHOS.

NICOLE: He's not my boyfriend.

PARIS: He was until I stole him from you.

NICOLE: What?

PARIS: Or was that your sister?

NICOLE: I don't HAVE a sister. YOU have a sister.

PARIS: We both have sisters, dumbass. We're both the skinny sister! Woo! Remember?

NICOLE: Paris. I don't have a sister.

PARIS: Um, did they give you electroshock therapy when you were in that eating disorder thingie? You totally have a sister. You guys were on that TV show forever, like when you were little kids? Remember? You guys are twins, or something.

NICOLE: Paris, that's Mary-Kate Olsen.

PARIS: YOU'RE Mary-Kate Olsen.

NICOLE: NO, I'M NOT.

PARIS: ...are you sure?

NICOLE: YEAH.

PARIS: Really? Because I think you're wrong. You look just like her. Do you have your driver's license with you? Because I don't think I believe you.

NICOLE: I'M NOT MARY-KATE OLSEN.

PARIS: Then who the hell are you?

NICOLE: It's NICOLE.

PARIS: Richie?

NICOLE: YEAH.

PARIS: Oh.

NICOLE: YEAH.

PARIS: Um. So, this is awkward.

NICOLE: YEAH.

PARIS: I guess the friends thing is off again, then.

NICOLE: You know what you did.
ROFLMAO!
_________

I found an old Blue house t-shirt in my cupboard this evening. Wilson had gotten it for free and he gave it to me because I didn't like my Red house t-shirt design last year.

When I found it, I felt so overwhelmed with nostalgia that I put it on straight away - and I felt like a SriKL-ian again.

I remember all those times before sports practice, when the whole school would gather in the courtyard, sitting according to their houses (like something out of Harry Potter), to hear Mr.Nathan give his useless (to me) speeches, ending with Mr.Chew telling us to be careful while crossing the roads and giving us a sports pep phrase wtf.

I remember all of us coming down for PE dressed in our normal school uniforms.

Mr.Raymond (the hopeless pervert PE teacher) would send us all up again to change into our PE shirts.

So we'd go up, and we'd spend an eternity in the toilets before slowly making our way down again.

We'd sit watching the boys run around bouncing basketballs and playing futsal for fifteen minutes before the bell rings and we'd trudge back up to class to change back into uniforms again wtf.

I remember a time in Form 4, when the gymnasium was ready for use and once a fortnight, we'd climb up five or six floors - that's A LOT of stairs - (we'd be half-dead and panting by the time we reached the top) up to the gym to be pushed around for 30 minutes before climbing down again.

Gym was fun, though. I remember one time, we did this run-jump thing on the pommel horse.
We had to run from one end of the room to the other where the pommel horse was and then jump on a spring board and land perfectly on the pommel horse on two feet. It wasn't easy. I managed to pull it off twice, and then the third time, I fell off the pommel horse and nearly sprained my ankle. -_-

Oh, those times were fun.

There were also the times when Mr. Raymond would harass Huai and we'd all glare at him.

*Mr. Raymond touches Huai's leg*
"Don't touch me la!!"
*Mr. Raymond smiles and touches Huai's leg again*
"OI! STOP TOUCHING ME LA PERVERT!"
*Mr. Raymond smiles and gives a surprised look* "What did you call me?" *Touches the top of Huai's head*
"STOP IT LAH!"

Hahah, and every year we had to do a high-jump for some test thing and every year we'd try to escape it by claiming we forgot to bring our PE shirt or claiming we had our periods. We'd proceed to sit at one corner and watch everybody land perfect jumps or make a fool of themselves while laughing like maniacs.

:) Thnks Fr Th Mmrs.

Disgusting pests..

You made me feel like the one, made me feel like the one.... the one...

My house is infested with those water-bugs with long flat wings that always come after a long day of rain.

I HATE them. Right now, millions of them are buzzing away, surrounding the various fluorescent lamps we have downstairs. Only a few managed to make their way upstairs - I don't know where they have gone to now, but ... oh. Speak of the devil. One just appeared in front of me. Ugh. Little monster.

My aunt says they're white ants. After all their wings eventually drop off, they'll find damp wood to live in. Bye bye shoe cabinet. (Candy will have a great time with it.)

Right now, though, Candy's sitting meekly in the corner beside the shoe cabinet, not daring to even snap at a flying ant whenever it passes.

That's because, my aunt says, they bite. "They're ants after all."

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE a particularly huge one just decided to land on me. I CAN'T STAND THEM. UGH.

Fifteen candles.

#1 Even though you just pissed me off less than five seconds ago

#2 And though i'm typing this with gritted teeth...

#3 And though we have fights like the one we had yesterday night about the ACOUSTIC LIVE video of The Click Five's "Mary Jane" on MTV (it is Acoustic Live!!), arguing whether it was actually called the "Acoustic Live" version or the "Acoustic" version... *pulls hair out*

#4 And even though you can be such a sneaky little hypocritical tell-tale mummy's boy sometimes ALL THE FREAKING TIME....

#5 And even though we have fights with each other that result in me trying to punch the lights out of you and you running around the bed in an effort to get away from me (you're always the coward, even though you never admit it -_-)

#6 And even though you're soooooooo anal that I am seriously considering finding you a boyfriend as a present

... Happy Birthday, Dumbass.

SALE!.

edit as of 12.16 AM

after fights like the one i've just had with my brother, it would make me LOVE to hear him say "acoustic" one more time - with my hands around his neck.

end edit.

AAAAAAAH!

Remember Karmaloop?

They're having a SALE!

Yes, a SALE!

For clothes and shoes AND accessories, all of which going el cheapo!!!

Godddd if only my mother didn't have this certain silly trust issue. She doesn't trust any transactions involving money through the Internet, thinking that people will con you into buying nice items when they only want your money and they won't ever give you your item -_-

She doesn't trust Nuffnang or Advertlets but I signed up for them anyway. *Shrugs* It's not like i'm even earning anything from them anyway. Like, what, five bucks?

Anyway. I'm really nuts about this Freshjive hoodie that's going for US$62.95!!! That's around RM200 or so in our money. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah I SUPER DUPER WANTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

*DIES X10000000*

Oh, red Gap hoodie, i'm sorry for wanting another hoodie, but ohhhhhh it's so beeeoooteefoooolll!

*dies again*

Why can't we have Karmaloop brands here?!?!!

This is the epitome of UNFAIR.

*stomps off in a huff*

*stomps back to tell of new obsession*

Yeah, i'm obsessed with yaoi manga scans now -_- thanks to Joan, for coming over last night and reintroducing me to them.

*stomps off again*

Assholes on trains..

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
(inspired by Karen Cheng, whose blog was introduced to me by Zheng Joo)

Stepping on the train, I nonchalantly answered a call from Joan before spotting a seat next to an elderly old man in a blue shirt. I plonked down on the hard orange plastic seat, thinking that it was a really good seat, for it was next to a pole that I could hang on to if the train lurched too much to the left when it stopped, and there were two pretty harmless looking guys and a tudunged lady sleeping with her mouth open on the seats across from me.

Boy, I was so damn wrong.

The tudunged woman was really funny to watch, though. She'd snore loudly once in a while, drawing smirks from the people in the carriage we were in (me included). She honestly looked a little like Puan Kalsom, my Kajian Tempatan teacher when I was standard six, whose house, we were told, got broken into by a toyol. That's an interesting story for another day.

Anyway.

The guy across from me - let's dub him Asshole A - was kind of thin and tall, with shaggy black hair falling loosely around his ears and a sort of fat chin. He was wearing a light blue-and-white striped polo shirt, dark jeans and battered, mud-splattered beige Converses with light blue laces. Talk about color coordination.

The guy sitting next to him - Asshole B - was the opposite of Asshole A. He was fat, short and his stomach was bulging from underneath his once-white polo tee. He had a mouth that I was certain could fit at least 2 McDonalds' BigMac burgers in, and a really loud pasar malam hawkerlike voice. He had really revolting shoes - they looked somewhat like Crocs, minus the holes, and they were leather. Can you say, fugly?

Both of them were talking loudly in Cantonese. When I sat down, Asshole A looked at me from behind his framed glasses. So did Asshole B, but I didn't really care, because it's usually normal if someone looks up at you when you sit down across from them.

I pulled out my iPod and plugged the earphones into my ears, but I didn't turn the music on yet. As soon as they thought I wasn't paying attention, Asshole A nudged his fat friend and they both smirked at me and said in Cantonese,

"Wah. Got iPod some more wanna sit train."

"Ya loh," his partner agreed.

Such utter stupid nonsense. Does it mean that i'm not entitled to the use of public transport if I have an iPod? Is there a fucking sign anywhere that says people who own iPods aren't allowed to board trains?

I gripped my iPod nano so hard (thank God the body's made out of titanium), it was all I could do to not throw it at them to wipe the smirks off their faces.

The both of them kept smirking at me periodically until I got off at the Taman Bahagia stop.

ASSHOLES SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED ON TRAINS.

Asshole A, I hope you get choked to death by a pair of iPod earphones one day.

Asshole B, I hope you get bigger and bigger until you can't even fit through the doors of the train we were in just now :)

are you afraid of the dark?.

i hate cockroaches. i seriously hate them. like, when i see one, the hairs at the back of my neck stand, and i just can't help shivering and screaming (usually during the process of me running as far as i can from the insect). all of us have fears. c'mon. we all do. except if you're like Gaia from that book series Fearless, of course, but it isn't humanly possible. to not have fears. everyone is afraid of something. my brother, he's afraid of cockroaches (just like me, though he doesn't want to admit that he is). my friend, she's afraid of anything that has more than two legs. my dad, he's afraid of.... actually, i don't know what he's afraid of because he never ever shows any emotion except being grumpy all the time or laughing silently at the famous antics of mr.bean. and my mom, she's afraid of rats.

yet, she always chides me for being afraid of roaches (especially when i scream). like today. i was nodding my head along to Boys Like Girls' "The Great Escape" when this huge roach my maid was trying to catch yesterday (before it disappeared into a crack between the cupboard and the wall) suddenly appeared from behind my speakers and crawled up the freshly painted wall.

obviously, i screamed and i ran as fast as i could down the stairs, and then my mom threatened to stick cellophane tape across my mouth if i screamed again, calling me "siao lang" or "stupid" or "crazy".

.....is it fair? you tell me.

i don't have a problem with rats, except when they choose to die in the cup of your ceiling fan, causing maggots to drip steadily from the ceiling. *shudders*

its the maggots i have a problem with. NOT the rat.

rodents are cute. INSECTS ARE NOT.

cockroaches are disgusting, prickly, ugly, dirty, smelly, and downright... horrible.

and i certainly do not call my mom crazy for the fact that she's afraid of rats, because i wouldn't want a mark the size of a grapefruit on the side of my face or even a black eye. and i certainly do not think that she is crazy for being afraid of rats. people are different and are born different.

... some people just can't accept the way other people are.

It's caturday!.

OMG.

Before I ramble on any further, i'd like you people who love streetwear as much as I do to look at THIS website.

Sneaker, hoodies, awesome possum t-shirts and jeans GALORE!

Stumbled upon this site when I was looking through my streetwear LJ communities. It has EVERY single streetwear brand in there imaginable - from Harajuku Lovers and L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani to Paul Frank, Keds, Converse and even Adidas. I'm practically drooling all over my keyboard right now.

*adds notion of owning at least one item of every brand listed in Karmaloop to my "Things I Must Do Before I Die" list*

Aaaaaaaaaaanyways, i'd like you to meet a special furry friend of ours.

Isn't she adorable? She lives in our campus and every once in a while, she gets pregnant and has kittens. Her kittens play in the bushes by the pond like little tigers in the jungle. I'm serious! Hahah. Damn effing super cute.

The only thing is, we've never seen a male cat around at all, so how the hell does she get pregnant in the first place? 0_o

Maybe one of her kids.....

Whoa. Rewind. Incest. Ugh.

Anyways, I made some lolcat icons of Waffles, because her expressions are so damn adorable, don't you think?

Don't you get it?.

I am super duper hooked on Boys Like Girls.

Super awesome band. I adore Martin's voice - it reminds me of Eric Dill's, formerly of The Click Five. My current fave from their album is "Thunder".

This band's highly recommended if you love both Simple Plan and The Click Five.

Download the album and you'll know why :)

Ugh. Fucking mosquitoes are biting at my legs.

Same old same old.

Here I am, back to my daily routine.

Back to being me. Back to sitting in front of the computer or lying on my bed in my room, doing assignments, unsuccesfully trying to memorize notes. Same old same old.

Frankly, the only thing that's changed is the way this place smells. Its from the paint fumes from the newly repainted walls, done in the same old boring color. How I wish my walls were red, or black, or even orange or purple or fucking electric pink, not "green apple white" which LOOKS like any other white anyway, so why bother with the "green apple"? Ugh. Someone please hand me a fucking sledgehammer.

God, I need a break. A change. One holiday isn't fucking enough.

Note to self:
Meeting at college tomorrow for film. After that, trudge back home and clean out my fucking cupboard.

Tag, i'm it again again again....

Just came back from... coming back from college.

We nearly got lost in Shah Alam because mom wanted to find her way to PKNS and blamed us for not telling her which way it was when both of us can't drive at all and we never ever go to Shah Alam. So true, what we learnt the other day in Social Psychology. People will always put the blame on other people instead of blaming themselves. See? There's the proof. :D

All of us do it. *shrugs*

I've felt what you felt all along.

Brendon can't keep his eyes off Ryan. He doesn't know exactly why.

Even here, on stage, he keeps sneaking peeks at the guitarist out of the corner of his eye. There's just something - something that makes Ryan really stand out today. Maybe its the polka-dotted tie. Or maybe its the blue waistcoat or the way Ryan looks in his usual gray pair of skinny jeans. Or was it because of the red guitar that Ryan exchanged his usual white one for?

Whatever it is, it certainly isn't the guitar Brendon's staring at.

And when the first few chords of his favorite song of their album, "Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off", come on, instead of looking out to the crowd and asking them to sing along like he does at every other concert, he turns to Ryan and stares into his dark honey-brown eyes.

" Is it still me that makes you sweat? Am I who you think about in bed ..."

The fangirls go wild.

Brendon moves towards Ryan slowly, shutting his eyes, his feet moving forward one step at a time. And when he opens his eyes again, Ryan is only a few feet in front of him. Yet, Brendon moves closer and closer until their noses are barely touching, and he can feel Ryan's warm breath - now getting quicker - on his face.

Brendon really can't explain what he's doing, and Ryan's staring back at him, his expression unreadable. Ryan isn't moving, only his hands are on his guitar - and yet, Brendon continues to sing.

"I've got more wit, a better kiss, a hotter touch, a better fuck, than any boy you'll ever meet, sweetie you had me..."

And as Brendon sings the last few syllables to that line , he places his right hand on the back of Ryan's head and with a tiny smirk, leans in and kisses him.

***

Brendon can barely look at Ryan once the show is over.

Once he hands his microphone to a stage crew member, he pushes past Spencer and Jon and locks himself in the bathroom and sinks to the floor.

Oh. My. God. What the hell did he do out there? How could he have kissed him?! It was Ryan. George Ryan Ross. His best friend. Or his ex-best friend, because after what happened on stage, Brendon is sure that Ryan hates him now.

He stays there on the tiled bathroom floor for a long time, ignoring Spencer and Jon's frequent knocks on the door until he hears Ryan plead "Bren? Come out of there, please. You've been in there for twenty minutes and Spencer really needs to pee."

Brendon pulls the door open and launches himself into Ryan's arms.

"Ry, i'm so, so, so, so, so, so sorry for what I did - I don't know what got into me, Ry, I think it must be the chicken and cheese sandwiches I had before the show - maybe it's the cheese or something - I don't know, but i'm so so sorry, Ry, I swear -"

Ryan cuts him off with a soft, warm kiss on his lips that makes his whole body melt.

When they finally pull away, Brendon stares at Ryan, dumbfounded, his heart beating a mile a minute beneath his deep red blouse.

Ryan's the one smirking this time, and what he says next makes Brendon's heart turn somersaults and cartwheels and jumping jacks and whatever else, because -

"I've felt what you felt all along."

What if there were no malls?.

I spent the day at home today.

I'm not allowed to go out with friends this week because quote Mom "I'm spending too much money" unquote. It's ridiculous. It's hard really, to go out and to NOT spend something, because we always go to places that actually TEMPT me to spend. Like our usual haunt, MidValley - don't even get me started on how many things I can buy there with fifty bucks in my pocket.

*sighs wistfully*

Guess we're going to have to do something more productive when we go out next time eh? Like having a picnic in one of the more cleaner parks around the city. Baking cupcakes. Walking the streets of KL with cameras in our hands. Blowing bubbles while sitting on benches. Walking our walk-deprived dogs. Watching a DVD at each-others' houses while eating popcorn hot from the microwave. Playing Monopoly (*cough* HuaiCANNOTwinanymore *cough*). Making scrapbooks. Ringing doorbells and running away laughing. Flying our kites on shit-covered grassy hills (because we never pick up after our dogs). Sitting on swings, feeling like little kids again. Oh, all the things we could do if our lives didn't revolve around malls or cinemas, or if Malaysia was a hundred times cleaner!

I've realized this blog is picture deprived, so I shall post one here before I attempt to start my "The Brave One" movie review due Monday for Miss. T :-

It's a picture of Leisure Commerce Square at night, snapped from the back of a moving car. I edited this ages ago before my Photoshop went kaput.

shopping.

GAH CAMILLE!

get your sneaky little arms and lips OFF seeley booth!!!

he is BRENNAN'S! BRENNAN'S!!

***

We went to Mid Valley today. I walked until my legs hurt but its all in the name of shopping. Or window shopping, since I didn't buy anything today.

I love the smell of new buildings. New air conditioned buildings. Like IKANO and the Curve, which have managed to stay nice-smelling even after all this while. Anyway, Mid Valley's The Gardens smelled just like pine. And wood. Everything was decorated in either shades of white, leaf-green, or black and wood in different shades. Even the floors in shops were wood or shiny black-or-white tiles.

Once we entered the place, we couldn't stop oohing and aahing. There was Coach, Banana Republic - BANANA REPUBLIC!, Warehouse, Miss Sixty, M by Michael Kors, Guess by Marciano, BCBG Max Azria, DKNY and a few other up-and-coming designer labels - all shiny and BRAND NEW!!

There was even this shop called Graffi-tee, where they sell different colored unisex shirts with awesome printed designs on them. Plus, there was a shop that was not yet open that sells files and binders with DESIGNS on them! ZHENG JOO you must see that shop, you must! I can't wait to buy something and the shop isn't even open yet!

The Gardens totally pwns OU man. Their floor directories are even computerized and TOUCH SCREEN! High-tech is the way to go!

Now MV is NEARLY complete. NEARLY because FOREVER 21 ISN'T THERE!

________________

I'm BACK from Topshop's student lockdown @ sunway pyramid!

free goodie bags for the first 150 customers and 20% off all items, for students ONLY if you flash your student ID!

items were bloody cheap. nine bucks for a waist belt. a hundred twenty for a pair of jeans. nineteen bucks or so for two plain sleeveless tops. etcetera, etcetera.

it was heaven and hell at the same time. heaven, because of all the fabulous clothes in front of us going for dirt cheap prices, and hell because of all the COMPETITION argh!

I think I got pushed/hit by people at least like a hundred times or so, because they were rushing to grab the clothes/tops/pants/underwear/belts/necklaces in their size before they were taken by the other customers.

while we were lining up to get in, I swear this girl behind me muttered to her male friend beside her :

"eh, when you get it that time hor, u run faster than me mah, so you run over to the underwear section then you grab that gray color pair for me hor, size six. kay?"
"you crazy ah? i'm a BOY. hello?!"
"don't care lah! AFTER NO MORE SIZE HOW? everyone go in sure rush and grab what they want wan. later when the gates open we push forward ok!"

ganas right. *shakes head*

anyway, when I grabbed what I wanted to try on, there was already a snaking line forming right outside the dressing room, so I stealthily sneaked in and joined the front of the line, pretending that I already lined up like all the others. this girl that cut lines when we were lining up outside Topshop earlier gave me this death glare as I did so. bloody hypocrite man.

bottom line is, I got my top and headed out of Topshop in around 20 minutes, tops, and I came out alive.
