Welcome! You've stumbled upon the page of an almost-nineteen year old that's currently undergoing one of her "Who Am I? What Am I Doing Here?" phases. She also happens to have a huge love for words, bright pictures and music, and constantly craves sweet, iced tea drinks. Buy her a cuppa, perhaps?

My First Chocolate Cake..

The day I first baked a cake.....

Was last week - A Sunday, to be precise.
Mom had postal ordered an oven and an electronic mixer from some place like Bonuslink or Maybank Points 4 U or something, so you could tell how excited I was to be finally baking!
I had Dad take me to the Giant supermarket in Atria to get my ingredients, and two from-the-packet cake mixes, one a chocolate cake, the other a golden butter cake.
I also threw in a carton of fresh milk and a slab of nice Anchor (previously Fern) butter into the trolley, just in case.

Got home, and excitedly, I followed the instructions on the back of the chocolate cake mix, without stopping, and when I was finished with the mix - Wilson helped me operate the mixer, since it took quite some energy to lift the damn thing, I poured the mix into a pan and popped the thing into the oven to bake for about fourty five minutes at a temperature of 175 degrees Celcius.
(Isn't this such a long sentence) ?

And finally..... here's the cake.

......It sunk in the middle and the cake was too soft.
Even though I popped in a toothpick and it came out clean.

ARRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!66666
