1) todayi had an amazing day :) i spent one half of the day walking around OU with the Clique, and then the other half with the Guavas - whom i have missed so much! i had Burger King for lunch, then tried to watch a horror movie (Halloween) but i was too much of a wimp to watch past the initial fifteen minutes or so, so Jayne and i left, flitted from shop to shop in finding the perfect scarf (Zara!), bought magazines (Junk and Time Out) and reserved a gorgeous bag - not the bag i wanted, but a gorgeous bag nonetheless ♥ then, with the Guavas, we had dinner (roti planta) at Kanna Curry House and then played Pictionary at Terence's - 3 vs 4, and we (Andrew, WL and i) were kicking their (Terence, Huai, Joan and Vanessa) asses at first, but they won in the end. next game, boys, next game. the game was hilarious. after finishing a round, in a bid to try and save paper, we'd draw careful lines around each picture. it didn't make much of a difference, though. but still, we were eco-friendly! *grins due to that 'eco-friendliness', we created an Octopus with an external brain as a result! it was so cute i had to take a photograph. i've never had such a fun day in a long time, guys. i love you all ♥ 2) fandom-related goodness ♥ - so, Panic at the Disco have started a new blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY. after scrapping their old website layout, the blog portion has been missing (technically, non-existent) for months and months now, and i'm glad that they've set up an extra site solely for blogging. it's been ages since i read some of RyRo's weird blogposts and Jon's wholesome posts (i love his the best, i have no idea why), and i'm hoping to read some Brendon and Spencer ones, just to see how their writing is like. not surprised if Brendon's are all about CapriSun and cookies, though, that boy is such a kid at heart. ♥ well, knowing Ryan Ross (as a fangirl, not personally, of course - i wish), he got things going with the site's first blogpost, a post about interesting things at the VMAs, how the world works and prehistoric walking whales. um. o- kaaaaaay. - i bought a Bones Season 3 boxset!!! it was a steal, considering how much i paid for the last two Seasons when i got them in Summit. i left it at Terence's - i can't wait to settle down and watch an episode or two when i get it back! i heard that Booth and Brennan finally kiss in an episode (thanks for spoiling it, Galaxie!). about time, after two seasons, don't you think? 3) mobile mattersyeah, so the phone that i was using after i lost my initial phone went bonkers recently. i realized that people weren't receiving my text messages, and i was wondering why no one replied to my text messages, too :( so Dad got me this LG phone from this weird Maxis deal thingy, and i love it already, despite it having no games like Snakes (MY HIGH SCORE IS GONE *sob). i love the pretty pink font highlighter text when i write text messages and the cute keypad sounds (do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do - I KID YOU NOT) when you press them!!!! :D :D :D :D i'm one happy girl :)))) Labels: click clique, daily life, guavalians, Outing

my sort-of outfit. today was an unlucky day of sorts for me:- got bombarded with more designing work *posters for prom, ya allah. i will scour Flickr and Deviantart tomorrow for a suitable stock picture! - LOST MY PHONE*kanasai babi cab driver :(. i'm not elaborating any more on this, but let's just say that it's a repeat of what happened to Zheng Joo last year, just that it happened to me this time, wtf. just mail/msn me your numbers! you can still contact me at my old number - i discontinued my old SIM and got a new one, so no changes. PLEASE DONT GET OFFENDED when i answer my phone with a "Hi, who are you?" because as of now i only have like a total of seven numbers on my phone, so um, unless you're one of those seven i might possibly not know who you are. - lens cap got stuck * kns the fucker lodged itself between my lens filter and the side of the lens filter and refused to budge. i had to take it to the camera shop around the corner (i NEARLY went into the Canon center before realizing that i was holding a Nikon and i would be offending Canon in a way HAHA). thankfully the guy dislodged my lens cap without a problem! - forgot to switch my camera off * FROM FOUR PM UNTIL NOW OK. six hours okay! i'm so relieved that my camera doesn't feel hot or smell funny right now. kanasai :( the good things:- i wore a scarf! * heh. i love my Forever 21 scarf. i seem to be attracted to most things purple these days. i seem to go for the purple colored stuff first before any of the other colors. have. to. stop. omg. - i bought Breaking Dawn * going to settle down and read it properly when i'm done with my assignments for the weekend. i have IPD slides to prepare and that skeleton i have to joint re-prepare with Jason. i heard that the book is kinda corny but whatever, it certainly beats Harry Potter. - we had NANDO'S! * i am a happy girl. yum. i'll be hitting urbanscapes tomorrow with ficm pals - i hope i'll come back with a steal or two! i want that goddamn mixtape necklace so effing bad.
too pooped/dizzy to type out an actual post like i used to but overall the meetup with the old gang was kind of okay, though it went on awkwardly because of the lack of things to do. though the end of the night was pretty interesting...... mm natch. kay, off to shower and then bed. p/s: bumped into the donkey at OU today. pretty glad to see him there because i miss peeps from the ficm crew ♥
p/p/s: omg my tagboard's alive again; courtesy of the tranny pelican aka Geoffrey Yeow. :) p/p/p/s: oh - we watched Wanted today. the plot was kind of twisted and hard to catch. i had to ask Terence at the end of the movie about a few things i couldn't understand. otherwise, i sort of liked the movie, although others thought it was pretty fake and bizarre due to the way the bullets were curving and everything. the slow motion effects kind of irked me a little, but other than that it was all fine. James McAvoy & Angelina Jolie do make a hot pair in the movie, even though Angelina spends half the movie beating James up (ha - you go, girl), and Morgan Freeman seems to always pick the most twisted movies to star in. the role he played in this movie really reminded me of his role in Lucky Number Slevin! watch it and see for yourself :) Labels: guavalians, Outing

Today we went house visiting. Joan came and picked me up in her car and we went off to get Huai, then following Dollar's directions we tried to make our way to Klang, but somehow we ended up getting lost in Little India wtf -_- We finally made it to Kai's after getting correct directions to the hospital near her house from a security guard. She had some Australian guests over, and they speak Cantonese. o_o I fail. * "Tommy, this is called kam," Kai told Tommy, the eldest son, who's 18 and really funny, holding up a mandarin. "O_O Kam?" Tommy starts laughing. Took me a while to get it, but when I did I nearly spat 7 Up all over Tian Yi's coffee table. Labels: fun, guavalians, Outing

Yesterday was a whirlwind of sorts. We hung out at Terence's, sang in Chipmunk tones to Maroon 5's Wont Go Home Without You about three times, laughed at this little shop's ridiculous name (Kedai Runcit Fook Fak), got stuck in an equally ridiculous jam for thirty minutes, and then we finally made it to Neway for some karaoke. And then when we were getting into the car - *Andrew flashes his car lights**Terence flashes his car lights*Joan: GEEZ, CAN YOU TWO STOP FLASHING EACH OTHER ALREADY?! Labels: Outing

Just yesterday, a couple of us went to Dara's farm for one last college class outing, where we had scrumptious barbeque (the potato salad was again, to die for) and saw lots of animals, fed chickens, climbed trees, and of course, took lots of pictures. It was nice to escape from city life and just spend time surrounded by nature and our classmates. These are my pictures : The baby goat. We all spent ages trying to touch it but it was too fast for us - it always hops away. IT WAS SO ADORABLE - everyone was going "AWWWWWWWWWWWW" Robin and Syaf climbing a huge tree. The male deer, dubbed Bambi by Zheng Joo. It was extra friendly, it licked my hand and it even chewed on a rubber flip-flop and Amir's shoelaces. Their racehorse, Great Hero, getting a free manicure. He's so tall. Little Billy venturing near the entrance of the place we were having our lunch. Miss. T reaching out to Bambi. Amir picked a chicken up. This is Mary, one of their two ponies. The other one was a male and he was fierce. Amir and the chicken again. Mary grazing. Bambi. Here are my pictures for you guys to downloadhttp://www.mediafire.com/?83hlsyzyfhd I'm not sending them on MSN, because i've already deleted pictures on my computer, so hurry! Labels: College, Outing

So. The man just came over and brought my CPU back to reformat/revive it. YAY! I wonder what he'll say when he finds my 234273947293 slashfics and my 300 Ryden icons. And, um, I think there's still a yaoi manga or two somewhere in the jungle that is my pile of documents. Um. Happy reading Mister Computer man. * Anyways, Saturday was the reunion of us Guavalians. Guavalians, not Gammalians, mind you. There's a difference. It's up to you to use your brains to figure it out. Lynette couldn't come, Suz's in England, WenLiang's in Australia and Jo Wen is .. um. Uncontactable :| Anyway, we had an awesome time. We ice-skated, I fell down twice, and I've got a huge blister that evolved into a wound on my left leg, but in the end, I learned how to skate a little. :) At one point, over some la mian noodles and siu long baos at lunch, I felt so at home that I just sat quiet for a moment and glanced around at all of us with a smile on my face. We've changed, a little. But basically everyone's still everyone. Andrew's still as random as ever. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing, HAHA but it's certainly comforting to know that he's the same, I guess? :P *on the escalator* "Winnie..." "What?" "I want to pee." ".........." *bursts into laughter* Joan's still making fun of Adam's Adam. The poor guy. "So, Adam!" "Huh?" "How's life in the Big Apple?" That caused me to nearly fall down on the ice when we were skating. Aahh, the memories. These are pictures from Joan's camera. Us at lunch outside Dragon-I. Spot me!! Us again. Spot me!! Us at Jack's Place for dinner, with the head waiter who suspiciously reminded us of Wen Liang. See, Wen Liang? At least you were sort of with us that night :) Dereck's strategically placed middle finger. Eric Lay - haven't seen this guy in ages. Andrew being all happy clappy. In the car on the way home: Cousins and my best friends : Joan, Huai and I MONSTARRR We're big goofballs when it comes to cameras :| And we'll see our names in city lights... make the clock stop, make your heart drop and come alive... We're so cheesy, Pizza Hut's going to have a run for its money. The Ninjabanana. LALA! Hieeeeeee!! I iishh Winnie worhhh! I love concerts. I've loved them ever since my first one - Simple Plan in 2004. Man, that day's still as clear as ever to me as if it were yesterday. I wonder if I even still have the ticket stub with me. I love it when the crowd sings along together and layans the singer. At the Simple Plan concert, everyone was rocking out together to the music, singing along at the same time. It's a super good feeling. My mom calls me nuts for actually wanting to go to concerts that she said will cause "stampedes". It's not like we're a bunch of elephants or anything, but yeah. Damn pointless right, going to a concert like Linkin Park's and then sitting down and watching Chester scream his lungs out to a quiet audience. Then again, she thinks all musicians and actors have AIDS and take drugs. Stereotyping, much? Convo we had over dinner:Me: Man, the journey from the US to Asia takes about like what, 15 hours +? I can only imagine what the guys from The Click Five have gone through. Some more once they get off the plane, they have to do press conferences, meet and greets and shows straight away. Mom: They eat drugs. That's why it keeps them awake. I nearly spit out the broccoli that was in my mouth. Me: They don't take drugs lah! Mom: How you know? These kind of people ah.. Me: MOM! They're so innocent there isn't even a swear word in any of their songs, ok! Mom: You swear more than them lah. Man. The Click Five on drugs. Ha. Do any of them look like Pete Doherty to you? Anyway *rolls eyes* The pictures! :) *** The jam on the way to KL - green light, and yet no one's moving. Typical Malaysian KL roads in the evening. We finally got there after about quite some while and lined up to get ourselves in. The crowd at 7.28 PM (wtf small kids wtf) Free complimentary drinks that we didn't take... :( After a while, Joey G came on as the emcee of the night to get the crowd hyped up and ready for the concert. The usual "scream as loud as you can" stuff. Damn funny lah, Malaysian girls. It's like our country is so deprived of white people that even someone like Joey. G (if you've been hiding under your bed for the past two or three years or so, Joey's a Channel V VJ) can cause the crowd full of girls to go "OH MY GOD! IT'S JOEY! JOEY G!!!!!!" *girls start screaming* I mean he's KINDA hot - boleh tahan lah - and all, and his accent isn't really as annoying as Paula whatsername's, but still, IT'S JOEY G LAH OMG WTF, NOT BRAD PITT OR SOMETHING!!!!?!?!?! You cannot imagine how many times me, Joan and Terence rolled our eyes and went "Oh my God lah it's just Joey G wtf!!!" They even screamed at the not-even-close-to-good-looking soundcheck guy for the Click Five who went on stage to tune Joe's and Ethan's guitars. Omg smack me pls. Unknown white guy also wanna scream. The microphone. Was kind of trigger happy while waiting for the boys to come on. The crowd got bigger and bigger and eventually at 8.20 PM.... nah. By the end of the show, half of these people were either squished/trampled on. Ha. Me, Pounds and Joan :) I was so freaking excited that I rubbed my eye and all my eyeliner smudged wtf and it made me look like I hadn't slept in 234235253 years - given, it's my normal look, but it made it look ten times worse okay!!!!!!!!!! Joey G back again to give us posters (HE DIDN'T THROW ONE IN OUR DIRECTION ALSO!!! PFFT BOO JOEY I HATE YOU!) and tell us that The Click Five were finally coming. Note the row of boys sitting behind him. All of them TIDAK LAYAN the band when they came on and they sat there just looking bored. I swear the fat one on the right YAWNED like a million times okay?! WTF HOW FAIR IS THIS I TELL YOU!!!!!111 WE LAYANED. WE COULDN'T EVEN FREAKING SEE PROPERLY. AND WE GET SUCKY PLACES. *rants nonstop* And so, the boys came on to millions of screams. JOE ACTUALLY SMILED. And I actually took a picture of him smiling. HA! He looks kind of good with this smile :) Joe again, and Ethan in front of him, if you look properly. I swear, I have 24235235234523435 pictures of Joe. I have the most pictures of him for the night. BEN! Who was closest to us and winked at us!! 111 Okay, he was being a camera whore, but still!!!! *dies I think I love Ben more than Ethan now. HAHA Flashes of light. My camera sucks balls. Picture quality will slowly deteriorate from this point. Kyle and Joe. A very sweaty Joey after a few songs and Ben again :) Joey, but he was looking away. God, Zheng Joo, I swear, I tried my hardest to take a picture of Joey. I couldn't even see him. All my pictures of Joey look great on camera but they suck on the computer. Oh well. :( I swear, next time we go together ok!! Must perfect the art of taking pictures of Joey (and Kyle. and Ben. :D) I've enough pictures of Joe to last me a lifetime. I think this was during "Long Way To Go" or so. Joe and Kyle headbanging while Kyle does one of his cute rabbit hops!! Damn cute. Joe and Kyle again... Joey. And Joe. Because Joey's the drummer, he keeps nodding his head - and he smiles all the freaking time!! Damn freaking adorkable. We stood on booth chairs for a short while until a waiter asked us to step down because he was reserving it for this one malay girl wtf. Racist much? Joey again - with closed eyes this time. And Joe. Joey and Joe again... Joey and Joe again.. Joe this time looking STRAIGHT AT MY CAMERA!! :D I like the way his hair looks in this pic. Ben and Joey. Kyle bowing after a song. He was awesome. He sang Just The Girl and Catch Your Wave! He sounded awesome, and he gave the songs a more mature feel with his deeper voice. I so love the idea that the identical "monkey-suits" or so Ben calls them, are out of the window. Each of them have an own personal style, and yet, they still somewhat look alike. The guy with the camera you see behind Kyle in the above picture is the official photographer for the KL gig. His pictures are awesome. Let me show them to you. Here's Ethan. Gosh, I love his blouse. Kyle having fun. ;) NO FAIR! :( Kyle asking us all to go "YEAH!" and "HEY OH!" :D Kyle and Ethan. I probably have the least shots of Ethan. He was looking ever so awesome in lime green blouse and suit. Kyle had a slight mishap with his guitar - he broke three strings on them, and he had to change his guitar to his legendary white one :) My camera sucks. Repeat after me. Kyle - who was really very hot and sweaty after this point. "SAY YEAH!" A very blur picture of Kyle. Joey's smiling in this picture, if you squint. I think Kyle was introducing Ben on the keyboards :) Joe and Kyle facing each other while playing an extension bridge to Headlight Disco :) I got tired of jumping after a while and then I took this photo :P Kyle was in the middle of doing one of his adorable "kangaroo hops". Joe ... having way too much fun. Ethan and a sweaty Joe! Joey concentrating on the song. Kyle hopped up on one of the amps and started playing like crazy. When he was done, he leaped back onto the stage like a true rockstar. The End. :( MY ATTEMPT TO TAKE GOOD PICTURES : FAIL. Only 5 good pictures out of so many. *sighs* I made some icons Of the boys - Nonetheless, I enjoyed Myself. I would die to reexperience that again. Labels: hot guys, music, Outing, Pictionary
