happy 21, Spin! i couldn't bear to photoshop your best friend out of the picture as he is insanely gorgeous. sorry for having to share the limelight :'D it's been a busy few days! i'm back from college/uni (i can never get used to calling it uni, so i just call it college all the time, and people get confused, lol). although it was a pretty long day, i felt that it was one of the more productive days, because we finally finished our third attempt at designing a poster/flyer for the Carnivale event. pretty proud of this one! i can't show it to you guys yet, but when it gets accepted, i will! *crosses fingers* anyway, Merdeka eve this year was spent online with the Clique, and LeeYee and i were the only Malaysians present - we didn't even realize that it was past twelve before going OMG ITS PAST MIDNIGHT! HAPPY MERDEKA in all caps. lol fail. still, damn festive right :) last year's was spent at a barbecue party at Terence's with the Guavas and our mutual best friend called wine - don't know why it didn't happen this year. *sigh* it would have been nice if it did, but i'm not complaining. anywayyyy random pictures over the weekend- eyesssssssssssss. (omg some idiot is honking endlessly right now somewhere down the street, impatiently waiting for the person he's waiting for - funny how some people don't have the brains to just use a mobile phone.) and food pictures for Kamilla: Four Seasons platter consisting of a meatball in some tomato-like sauce, crispy mayonnaise prawns, deep-fried crap pincer, and this little dough basket with diced vegetables and pine nuts. i didn't like the pine nuts much, but the others were okay. this is sort of a special dish - we only eat this whenever we're in groups at a formal Chinese restaurant for dinner. they call this dish 'Longevity Noodles' usually eaten on someone's birthday, due to the belief that these noodles will prolong the life of the birthday person. i think. no idea. i'm not that superstitious, really. anyway, this dish consists of thin noodles in oyster sauce, with bits of fish, mushrooms and vegetables on top. Chinese tea, a staple whenever the Chinese have meals. this time, it's Chrysanthemum tea - Dad's favorite. i like the other kind better, but i have no idea what it's called, just that the tea is usually a few shades darker. food talk aside, the lecturers are trying to kill us again. work is constantly piling up, and if i don't get a headstart soon, i'm going to drown. :( wish me luck! Yep. It's next week, and all organized (well not entirely, but yeah. the paving stones are already laid). Wear pink y'all, and get your party on, because it's all for a good cause! **There will be booths selling items by Culture Couture and Sushi King before the event starts (during the day), so fill those wallets up :D Oh, and don't expect too many blogposts from me this week - i'm busy as hell. self reminder:

What can you do while you're at a party where there's only boring grownups asking you questions that you're tired of answering and screaming kids that annoy you to no end? 1) Find a secluded area in the house (Useful, especially when said party venue is at a huge house) 2) Sit down and take pictures of yourself all night. Who else to spend it with than your trusty Sony T10 right? That said, I hope you guys have a good New Year's day. Pop open those champagne bottles, because bubbly is the way to go! Love, Me. I'm in the Media Hub now. My last day in the Media Hub. I don't think i'll be seeing it for another three months or so. Bye red table tops. Bye matching red swivel chairs. Bye stupid swing-door. Hopefully you'll get replaced when we come back. Or not. It's Zheng Joo's last day here. :( I'll miss her. Lots. Right now she's beside me reading blogs. And we laughed when we saw a funny pic of Ben posted on the boards by Cami. XD * I really wanted to go to Sunway Lagoon. I pondered over bringing my stuff last night and telling my mom but then I learnt that my exams were until four, so I didn't bring my stuff. Jayne, LeeYee and Vivien called me just now and told me to go for the Battle Of The Bands thing at Sunway Lagoon but I didn't have my clothes and all and I'm in my college here in Mentari and my house is all the way in SS2, plus, my mom would kill me if I went out today because i'm going to my friend's farm tomorrow morning for one last party with my college mates, so yeah. :( I'm sorry girls. I really am. Again T_T. I suck. I really do. Will meet up with you guys soon. SOON. Promise. If you guys can go out, that is :] Owh. Mom's here. Gotta go. Will write more later, if I don't fall flat on my bed with exhaustion once I get home. Labels: College, events, gripes

this week's really taking a toll on me man. what with the assignments, and that Genesis event. its like all the lecturers ganged up on us and just picked this damn week to kill us or something.
"hey! lets pick a week and we'll torture them to death with assignments!" "why, thats a GREAT idea!" "wonderful! excellent! good!" "so! *brings out calendar* what week shall we pick?" "hmmmmmm... *stabs at calendar* what about this week? what with the exams coming up so close and that - what's her name again? - gween stifani concert thing, they'll have NO time to do it all!!!!" "BRILLIANT!" *all three snigger at their plan*

i have to apologize to you guys - zhengjoo, kien, tash, nadia. i wasn't exactly helpful today. well, at least i can be honest when i do the evaluation forms. *shrugs*
